    Qorvo's QPA1721D is a high power, packaged Ku-Band  MMIC amplifier fabricated using Qorvo's production 0.15 um GaN-on-SiC process (QGaN15). The QPA1721D targets the 17.3 – 21.2 GHz Satcom band providing 12.5 Watts of linear power with noise power ratio of 18 dB.  Furthermore, the QPA1721D can deliver output power up to 40 Watts with 33 dB of small-signal gain and 25 % power-added efficiency.

    The QPA1721D also had an integrated power detector to support system diagnostics and other needs.

    To simplify system integration, the QPA1721D is fully matched to 50 ohms with DC grounded on the input port for optimum ESD performance. Also, the input and output ports are AC coupled.

    The QPA1721D is ideal for supporting communications and radar applications in both commercial and military markets.

    The QPA1721D is 100% DC and RF tested to ensure compliance to electrical specifications.
