An engineering degree isn’t a prerequisite to be a “woman in tech.” At Qorvo, all of our female employees – independent of their roles – are essential to our success. Their collective voices and perspectives are some of our greatest strengths. Ideas from all corners of the company are heard, valued and counted – and highly encouraged.
Not only do we support women employed by Qorvo, we also encourage and motivate the next generation of women to find their place in technology. You’ll often find Qorvo supporting initiatives and programs for young women to ensure there’s a workforce of highly inspired women well into the future.
Whether you’re interested in a career in engineering, human resources, manufacturing or other functions, there’s an abundance of opportunity at Qorvo. It’s also a place where women thrive. Qorvo fosters growth for women in a variety of ways. This is achieved through training, communication and networking opportunities, both inside and outside of the Qorvo workplace. We invite you to explore our career opportunities.
At Qorvo, you’ll find women playing key roles in a range of projects and functions. Here’s a diverse group of voices from our employees talking about what it means to be a woman in tech.
I thrive on challenges, and Qorvo recognizes that. The company trusts me with challenging projects – ones that get me to stretch and grow. I find great satisfaction in seeking ways to improve the process as we go.
In just the past few years, I’ve learned so much at Qorvo. I attribute this to having the freedom to use my creativity as an RF designer, the support of my talented colleagues and the use of active listening and participating. All of this is done with the goal of advancing technology to make better products and build a fulfilling career.
Being a woman in tech is not limited to those who have a STEM-related degree – it includes all women who work at tech companies. I’ve grown my career at Qorvo by saying ‘yes’ to new opportunities such as building our Qorvo Cares program or expanding our channel marketing activities. It’s exciting to be a part of this fast-paced company as it grows and expands into new markets.
My work in technology has come full circle. I’ve worked on all aspects of product development. However, I’m most proud of my kids and how I juggle working in tech and being a mom. Now, my daughter is studying computer science and engineering at MIT and we can share this experience together.
I’m drawn to innovative and challenging work. As a design engineer at Qorvo, that’s the type of work I get to do: I’m part of a team that makes successful power amplifiers for base station and radar applications. As long as I am learning at work and see that my contributions are making an impact, it gives me satisfaction in my career and life.
I’m in human resources, and there’s no question my passion is to see Qorvo employees thrive in their positions. What’s even more gratifying is that my role has a direct impact on technology – I get to support and develop the employees who have the fantastic skillsets and knowledge to thrive as a company in this high tech, ever-changing industry.
