AWMF-0197

    17.7 - 21.2 GHz K-Band Quad 4x2 Rx Beamformer

    Key Features

    • 17.7 to 21.2 GHz operation
    • Supports 4 dual polarization radiating elements
    • Flexible polarization (RHCP, LHCP, linear)
    • 6-bit phase control / 5-bit gain control
    • Gain compensation over temperature
    • Temperature reporting

Qorvo's AWMF-0197 is a highly integrated silicon quad core IC intended for satellite communications applications. The device supports four dual polarization radiating elements with full polarization flexibility. Additional features include gain compensation over temperature and temperature reporting. The chip features ESD protection on all pins, operates from a +1.2V supply, and is packaged in a WLCSP (Wafer Level Chip Scale Package) for easy installation in planar phased array antennas.

The 2nd generation K-Band SATCOM beamformer IC family enables active antenna SATCOM ground terminals that can auto-align and auto-position supporting SATCOM-on-the-move using LEO/MEO/GEO satellites.

See AWMF-0198 for a Ka-band Tx beamformer IC.
