Crystal Procurement Tool

Crystal Procurement Tool is a downloadable PC application GUI tool that helps hardware designers selecting a 32 MHz crystal for Qorvo Low Power Systems. This tool checks if the crystal electrical parameters, as specified in the data sheet, can meet Qorvo procurement requirements. It calculates the (external) load capacitors, the test limits for finished goods production tests and, if needed it generates a frequency correction look-up table for up to 125°C applications. When a crystal passes Crystal Procurement Tool, we can guarantee - based on specifications - that a crystal will reliably oscillate and meets the frequency offset requirements of both the IEEE802.15.4 - 2.4 GHz PHY and the Bluetooth® Low Energy PHY over all the design corners and over product lifetime.
