Qorvo's CMD228P4 is a broadband GaAs MMIC low noise amplifier housed in a leadless 4x4 mm plastic surface mount (SMT) package. The CMD228P4 is ideally suited for microwave radios and S and C band applications where high gain, low noise figure and low power consumption are critical design requirements. The broadband device delivers 28 dB of gain with a corresponding output 1 dB compression point of +13 dBm and a noise figure of 1.5 dB. The CMD228P4 low noise amplifier MMIC is a 50 ohm matched design eliminating the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching.

This product is included in our Keysight PathWave System Design (SystemVue) and PathWave RF Synthesis (Genesys) compatible component libraries.
This product is available as an X-Microwave Block (X-MWblock) for evaluation.
X-MWblocks are RF and microwave "drop-in" components that can be used individually for prototyping or in production assemblies. X-MWblocks are easy to test, integrate, align, and configure to 60 GHz and beyond. No messy sweat soldering or silver epoxy processes are required. X-MWblocks are highly characterized with S-parameter models and connect with a patented solder-less interconnect technology.
