On Veterans Day, Qorvo proudly honors its employees who have served in the military and recognizes their unique skills and experiences, which often translate seamlessly into their civilian careers. These individuals bring invaluable qualities such as leadership, resilience and teamwork, honed in high-pressure environments. By celebrating their contributions and acknowledging the sacrifices they’ve made, organizations can foster a culture of appreciation and inclusivity. Embracing the diverse perspectives of veterans not only enriches the workplace but also enhances collaboration and innovation, ultimately benefiting the entire team.
One of the many ways Qorvo supports employees who have served is through its Veterans Enablement and Troop Support group (V.E.T.S.). With more than 250 members worldwide, V.E.T.S. fosters a military- and veteran-friendly environment at Qorvo, ensuring that veterans, active service members and their families are supported throughout their careers. The group’s mission is not only to create a strong sense of community but also to enhance recruitment, help onboarding and mentor veterans as they transition into the workforce.
In 2019, the United States Navy Reserve honored Qorvo as one of America’s Outstanding Navy Reserve Employers at the Navy Employer Recognition Event (NERE). The Navy Reserve selected Qorvo for assisting employees who are deployed as reservists and understanding their critical roles in the military.
Here, we highlight several of our veterans, who work in a variety of positions in a range of functional departments throughout our business units.
Pride. Teamwork. Discipline. These are just a few of the many essential traits you honed by serving your country that lay the foundation for a successful career. And they are the same valuable qualities we look for in our employees. At Qorvo, we are not strangers to hiring veterans. Those who served are highly respected and have helped shape our company for decades. With the collective support of their fellow employees, they’ve successfully transitioned from a military role to a civilian role – and thrived.

For Tony Testa, leadership and team-building have been the cornerstones of his career. “The military’s focus on leadership, honesty and integrity really translates well into my work at Qorvo. It’s all about building a strong team by making the most of each person’s unique skillset and background. Further, I hold myself accountable to ensure a path for our employees to grow and have an exciting career at Qorvo.” Tony’s military background (and musicianship) has instilled in him a drive for excellence, which he brings to his role at Qorvo. Though his career has taken him far from his initial dream of becoming an astronaut, Tony’s passion for exploration and growth continues to fuel his work.
Lauren Allen’s journey into the military began with a decision to seize an unexpected opportunity that led her to serve in the Navy. Her military career sparked a lifelong dedication to security, which she carries into her role as Facility Security Officer at Qorvo. “I’m passionate about security, but I’m also passionate about mentoring,” Lauren shares. In addition to her work, she actively mentors young women, empowering them to pursue careers in security and leadership. Reflecting on her time in the Navy, Lauren often marvels at the twists and turns her career has taken, knowing that her experiences have shaped who she is today.
For Aaron Eberle, his military service began with a fascination for technology. His career in the Navy, which included deployments during Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield, prepared him for tech’s fast-paced world. Now Qorvo’s Characterization Lab Manager, Aaron sees the parallels between military service and his work in the tech industry. “The military taught me how to handle change and work with people from diverse backgrounds,” he says. As an active member of Qorvo’s VETS group, Aaron is committed to supporting fellow veterans by connecting them with resources and helping them transition into civilian careers. “There’s a unique bond among veterans, and I’m proud to be part of a group that helps build a community within Qorvo.”
David Fullwood’s career in the Navy took him aboard submarines, where teamwork and trust were essential. These life lessons continue to guide him in his role as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Qorvo. “In the military, you learn that everyone succeeds or fails together, and that’s also true here at Qorvo.” David emphasizes that Qorvo’s culture is ideal for veterans looking to build long-term careers. “For those coming out of the military, Qorvo offers a culture that encourages growth and responsibility. It’s a place where veterans can thrive and take on bigger roles.”
Ken’s military background extends beyond just personal memories—it has also shaped his current role as the VETS group lead for veteran employees and non-veteran supporters of the veteran community. It’s a responsibility he took on somewhat unexpectedly, but whole-heartedly. “There was a call for leadership assistance, and I thought, OK, maybe I can get on the board, help out there and maybe help as a site lead,” he said. Not long afterward, he found himself stepping into the group’s lead role, advocating for fellow veterans at Qorvo. "I have a passion for helping out. I’ve gone through some trials and tribulations with learning how to navigate the VA system myself over the years," Ken explains. “I want to make sure I can help veterans out when I can.”
Veterans at Qorvo add to workforce diversity, bringing life experiences many will never know. VETS offers its members an opportunity to rekindle their sense of community and camaraderie— something military members and veterans relate to differently than those who did not serve. Membership to the VETS group is also open to non-military members and includes those with friends and family members who presently serve or have served in the past. Learn more here.
