Qorvo's CMD182C4 is a compact GaAs RF/Microwave I/Q mixer MMIC in a leadless surface mount (SMT) package that can be used as either an image reject mixer or a single sideband upconverter. The CMD182C4 I/Q mixer MMIC utilizes two double balanced mixer cells and a 90 degree hybrid. An external IF hybrid is needed to complete the image rejection. The CMD182C4 MMIC mixer is a much smaller and lower cost alternative to hybrid image reject mixers and single sideband upconverter assemblies.

This product is included in our Keysight PathWave System Design (SystemVue) and PathWave RF Synthesis (Genesys) compatible component libraries.
This product is available as an X-Microwave Block (X-MWblock) for evaluation.
X-MWblocks are RF and microwave "drop-in" components that can be used individually for prototyping or in production assemblies. X-MWblocks are easy to test, integrate, align, and configure to 60 GHz and beyond. No messy sweat soldering or silver epoxy processes are required. X-MWblocks are highly characterized with S-parameter models and connect with a patented solder-less interconnect technology.
