Qorvo's CMD178C3 is a general purpose double balanced mixer MMIC in a leadless surface mount (SMT) package that can be used for up- and downconverting applications between 11 and 20 GHz. The CMD178C3 has very high isolation to both the RF and IF ports due to the optimized balun structures, and can operate with an LO drive level as low as +9 dBm. The CMD178C3 mixer MMIC can easily be configured as an image reject mixer or single sideband modulator with external hybrids and power splitters.

This product is included in our Keysight PathWave System Design (SystemVue) and PathWave RF Synthesis (Genesys) compatible component libraries.
This product is available as an X-Microwave Block (X-MWblock) for evaluation.
X-MWblocks are RF and microwave "drop-in" components that can be used individually for prototyping or in production assemblies. X-MWblocks are easy to test, integrate, align, and configure to 60 GHz and beyond. No messy sweat soldering or silver epoxy processes are required. X-MWblocks are highly characterized with S-parameter models and connect with a patented solder-less interconnect technology.
